I stayed in a beautiful holiday home in Middleton for Easter holidays with my children and my Aunty. The staff at Dodd and Page were attentive, professional, and very friendly. The property was clean, well presented and the location was superb.
We had a wonderful time on the seafront at Port Elliot Thank you Kirsty from Dodd & Page for looking after us….. you always replied & attended to our questions promptly Would definitely use you again….. ????
We stayed at a holiday unit in Pt Elliot for a weekend in October. Whilst the place was nice, the oven/hotplates tripped the fuse due to a dodgy switch meaning we could not cook our dinners or breakfasts as planned. The property manager didn't resolve this issue resulting in us not having access to a functional kitchen for the whole stay. I provided feedback via their feedback form and a letter, and I have had no response to date (it has been a week since I wrote to them). A short summary of some of the points I provided to Dodd & Page:- • No apology was given except when I had to remind the person I dealt with that this was not a satisfactory situation (even then, it was more acknowledgement than an apology). • No offer of compensation was given. • If Dodd and Page are being paid to manage the unit, then they should provide a service to fix essential items like stoves / hot plates during someone’s holiday stay. • If a key resource such as an electrician is on holiday, then there should be a backup plan – this is extremely poor management of service outcomes for customers. • Phone calls should be returned promptly, and customers should be kept informed of progress when they are left waiting to find out how their issue is being resolved. • Sending an agricultural electrician to placate a customer is condescending (note I had cancelled an ‘actual’ domestic electrician that I had been encouraged to contact but cancelled when the property manager advised they had subsequently arranged an electrician to visit). • The issue should have been resolved – even if they had to phone an electrician from Adelaide. We all understand that things can go wrong, it is how these matters are dealt with that count. This was the worst experience I have had from a property manager and the lack of response is disappointing and unprofessional. Perhaps they'll respond to a google review!
Recently we rented a holiday home with Dodd and Page for the second time in 6 months. On arrival at the property there was a glitch regarding the condition of the property. On returning to the Dodd and a page office we were treated with incredible patience , professionalism and understanding. They went beyond fixing the situation, which may I point out was not of their doing. My daughter and I were treated with terrific service and the little surprise of a bottle of wine left at the gorgeous property we were moved to was the final icing on the cake. Dodd and Page sold my parents their home, resold it for them years later and now have impressed me beyond belief with their old fashioned great customer service. All the staff here are friendly and professional.
We were so fortunate to stay in a lovely beachfront property. All of our interactions with Dodd and Page staff were friendly, professional and helpful. They were so responsive and made everything so easy. It really made our holiday so enjoyable. We look forward to booking through Dodd and Page again.
